”Of all the fuckin’ places fer a sightin’...”[break][break]

A vague scrunch of disdain and distaste, alike, surfaced upon his face as he made his way through the shielded, sweltering routes of the passes. Sighing, an exasperated grunt of frustration rumbled from within the chambers of his throat as he lifted a hand, pressing and wiping it against his forehead with an impatient touch. He flicked his fingers immediately afterwards, cringing faintly more as the literal weight of sweat fly from his fingertips all the while.[break][break]

”If we find that sad sob out here, I’m fuckin’ givin’ ‘em a piece ‘o my mind fer bein’ out in the asscrack ‘o Hell…” he muttered, clicking his tongue.[break][break]

He lifted his head for a moment with the intention of searching further, only to pause and begin walking towards a familiar Golett as she seemed preoccupied with some matter off to the sidelines.[break][break]

”Oi, Ras… Ya found somethin’ fer me, girlie?”

He stared directly towards the Golett that led him down the path, ailed eyes narrowing towards the ghastly golem for just a fair amount of time before she glanced over to meet his gaze. His brows tented within a furrow prior to then, only faltering and relaxing upon noting the look of nervousness that spread upon her face as she noted the disdain within both tone and expression, alike.[break][break]

After a little while, he just inhaled and sighed within a deep manner, crouching down to pet her upon the head before nudging her back, urging her forward.[break][break]

"...Dun mind it, girlie," he murmured, clicking his tongue. "Try again. Find me somethin' else."[break][break]

He’d been about to question something before he felt a sudden pressure against his calf. A louder, guttural groan of pain and disdain escaped his lips almost immediately, and with mildly tented brows, he snapped his gaze over his shoulder.[break][break]

He stared at a Tyrogue that seemed to come out from nowhere, claiming his leg as its victim for a Tackle.[break][break]

…And a grapple, oddly enough. The sucker hung on post-hit, but as they met gazes, the two of them simply…stared. Stared for one moment, then two, then three, all before the man’s assailant only let go with an unceremonious Aerial Ace from the nearby Doublade, prompted by nothing more than a sharp whistle of an unspoken command.[break][break]

It had only been then that the man quirked his lip into an amused smirk, lowering himself down onto a knee as the little fighter shook the hit off as much as he could. He fended off another Tackle with nothing more than an outstretched hand, lightly grasping the creature over the top of his head and holding him away.[break][break]

”...Ain’t ya a cute one~?” he cooed, grinning wider upon noting the persisting furor exhibited by the fighting type as he continued to reach out.[break][break]

Chuckling, the Rocket inhaled and sighed with a faux exasperation, whistling again to call for a Mega Punch from the Golett watching before tossing a spare Pokeball out to the Tyrogue.[break][break]

”...We’ll train ye up nice ‘n strong.”[break][break]
